When I booked my scuba diving trip to Con Dao, Vietnam, I was picturing stunning reefs. And don't get me wrong, they were amazing. But then I discovered something on Amadive Con Dao's dive list: **Diving a Sunken Wreck**. My heart leaped. This wasn't just a standard reef dive; this was an exploration into the past.

I have to admit, I was a bit nervous. Diving a wreck is serious business. But the crew at **Amadive** was incredible. Their Divemasters gave us an excellent briefing. We covered safety protocols, the story of the wreck, and what to expect below. The fact we were in a small group instantly made me feel confident.

Descending was unforgettable. At first, it was just a dark shape in the blue, and then it came into view. It was enormous. It's now a bustling artificial reef, click here covered in soft corals and teeming with marine life. I spotted giant groupers hiding from inside the hull, and lionfish hiding in the cracks. The feeling of swimming next to this silent, ghostly structure was hard to describe—eerie, beautiful, and humbling at the same time. It truly is a time capsule on the seabed.

For any an Open Water diver (or higher) visiting Con Dao and seeking an adventure beyond the standard reef, I cannot recommend this **dive** enough. It was the absolute highlight of my diving trip. A huge shout-out to the **Amadive Con Dao** team for their expertise and for making this unforgettable adventure so safe.
